These cover using this website. They don't cover the actual work — if we end up making content for you, that runs on a separate agreement we both sign, and that agreement wins over anything here.

The site

This site exists to explain what we do and to let you start a conversation. You're welcome to read it, use the plan builder, and book a call. Please don't try to break it, scrape it wholesale, or use it to send us anything malicious. That's about the extent of our rules.

The plan builder is an estimate, not a quote

The plan builder takes four answers and points you at the tier that usually fits. It's a starting point for a conversation, not a binding quote. Real scope comes out of a call, and prices are confirmed in writing before anyone owes anyone anything.

Prices shown are in Canadian dollars and don't include HST.

Actual work runs on a signed agreement

Nothing on this site — and no email exchange off the back of it — creates a contract to do work. If we go ahead, you'll get a written agreement covering scope, deliverables, schedule, fees, revisions, ownership of the footage, and how either of us can end it. That document is the deal. This page isn't.

The work we show

The videos on this site are work we produced, shown with our clients' knowledge. The footage, and everything else here — the words, the design, the logo — is ours or our clients'. Please don't reuse it as your own or pass it off as your portfolio.

What we don't promise

We'll say this plainly rather than bury it: we can't promise a specific number of views, followers, leads, or sales. Nobody honest can. What we commit to is the work itself — the shoot days, the videos, the editing, the posting — and that lives in the signed agreement with real numbers attached.

The site is provided as it is. We try to keep it accurate and up, but we're not liable for what happens if it's briefly wrong or briefly down. To the extent the law allows, our liability for anything arising out of this website is limited to nil, because you haven't paid us anything for it. Liability for actual paid work is dealt with in the agreement, not here.

Links out

We link to a booking tool and, if you email us, you're dealing with our email provider. Those are their services under their terms — we're not responsible for how they run them. What we collect and who touches it is set out in our privacy policy.

Changes

We may update this page. If we do, the date at the top changes. Carrying on using the site after that means you're fine with the update.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. If something can't be sorted out between us, the courts of Ontario have jurisdiction.
