Short version: we collect what you type into the plan builder and your email address, we use it to send you your plan and follow up once, and we don't sell it to anybody. If you want it gone, email us and it's gone.
What we collect
Only what you hand us, plus basic anonymized analytics:
- Your plan builder answers — your business type, what you're going after, which platforms, and whether you're posting today.
- Your email address, if you ask us to send you the plan.
- Booking details, if you book a call — your name, email, and the time you picked. That goes through Cal.com, not through this site.
- Anonymized analytics — how people move around the pages, so we can tell which parts are confusing. It isn't tied to your name, and we don't use it to build a profile of you.
We don't ask for payment details on this site, and there's nothing here that needs an account.
Why we collect it
To email you the plan you asked for, and to follow up once to see whether it's worth a call. That's the whole reason. If you'd rather we didn't follow up, say so in a reply and we won't — one line is enough.
When you submit the plan builder with your email, you're asking us to send you that plan and to follow up about it. We keep a record of when and from which page you did that, because Canadian anti-spam rules expect us to know why we're allowed to email you. Every email we send you has a real reply-to that reaches a person.
Who else touches it
We're a small shop and we use ordinary tools to run it. Each one only sees the part it needs:
| Vercel | Hosts this site and runs the form that receives your submission. |
|---|---|
| Resend | Delivers the plan email to you and the notification to us. |
| Google Workspace | Our inbox — where your email lands and where we reply from. |
| Microsoft Clarity | Anonymized analytics about how the pages get used. |
| Cal.com | Booking, if you schedule a call. |
Some of these store data outside Canada, including in the United States, which means it can be subject to the laws there. That's normal for tools like these, but you should know it rather than find out later.
What we don't do
- We don't sell your information. Not to anyone, not ever, not "with partners".
- We don't add you to a list you didn't ask to be on.
- We don't use your answers for anything except talking to you about your own plan.
How long we keep it
If we end up working together, we keep your details for as long as we're working together and for a reasonable stretch afterwards — the CRA expects businesses to hold onto records for six years, and we're not exempt from that.
If we don't end up working together, we keep the enquiry for about a year in case you come back, and then it goes. If you'd rather not wait a year, see below.
Getting a copy, or getting it deleted
Email hello@contentrocket.ca and ask. You can ask what we hold on you, ask us to fix it if it's wrong, or ask us to delete it. We'll do it, and we'll write back to confirm — normally within a few days, and within 30 days at the outside, which is what PIPEDA requires.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled it, you can take it to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Cookies
We don't use advertising cookies and we don't run retargeting pixels. The analytics tool sets its own identifier so it can tell one visit from another; it doesn't know who you are. If your browser blocks it, the site works exactly the same.
Changes
If this changes in a way that matters, the date at the top changes with it. We're not going to quietly rewrite it and hope you don't notice.
